Almost exactly one year ago, over 30 Raleigh businesses banned together to raise over $30,000 to the victims of Hurricane Matthew as part of Rally + Relief Pt. 1. Last year’s inspiration was extremely personal for me. Rescuing my children from the flood waters in Robeson County after over 2 days of driving left a permanent mark on my soul.

Those feelings returned this past weekend while watching families, animals, retirement home residents, and children being rescued across the Gulf Coast during Hurricane Harvey. Immediately, I felt the need to ‘get the band back together’ and see how we can, as the Raleigh community, help the folks in Houston who need our donations.

All donations go to Greater Houston Community Foundation, which was set up by the Mayor of Houston, is in the community foundation family with NCCF, and is tax deductible.
